Well, it happened, just like the message a month ago warned. As of today my Youtube channel no longer qualifies for the Youtube Partner Program. In other words, I can no longer monetize my videos. I understand the reasoning behind Youtube’s policy change, I’ve seen my own videos reposted by a fly-by-night channel as well as those of other makers and my channel is still so small that it’s comparatively insignificant. In fact, my revenue from Youtube for the past year totals less than $60.00, it certainly isn’t paying the power bill but still, I had hopes. On the bright side, I’ve been assured that once my channel reaches 1000 subscribers it will be reconsidered and reinstated into the program. So, I am unashamedly soliciting subscriptions, likes and comments at my channel! Thanks!
