Well, I made it back into the shop for the first time in more than two weeks. A bout with the bug then having to deal with a cracked ankle kept me from standing in front of the lathe for WAY too long, I’ve been having withdrawals! But I got six inlay pens done and got started on a Cocobolo pen and pencil set in a Rosewood case that I should be able to finish tomorrow then I think I’m going to start on a couple more bowls. If it wasn’t so wet and rainy I’d spray some lacquer on some of the pieces I’ve already finished turning but I don’t want to have to deal with cloudy finishes. Maybe the weather will clear up later this week. These pens represent the first items available in my online store so let the orders start flooding in!
